The French people's first holiday departures have been disrupted in the air by the air traffic controllers' strike . Will they also be disrupted on the rails during the summer? Flight attendants are still holding out the threat of a strike. SUD-Rail, the second-largest union in the profession, filed a strike notice at the beginning of June, covering the entire summer period.

"It wasn't filed for nothing," warns Olivier, enigmatically, one of the leaders of the CNA, a collective bringing together thousands of ticket inspectors. Gathered on Facebook, it is, among other things, behind the harsh strike of Christmas 2022. A social movement would significantly mar the SNCF's summer. The company is heading towards a new record, with twelve million tickets already sold.
